About Kevin Sidel

Kevin Sidel brings more than 35 years of legal experience, 27 years as a Judge and more than 25 years in alternate dispute resolution to his evaluation and resolution of disputes.  In his capacity as mediator, arbitrator, Decision-Maker, Appointed Judge and Special Master, Kevin has handled thousands of cases since beginning his dispute resolution practice in 1999.

From 1995 through 2007 Kevin was the part-time County Court Judge in Elbert County, served as needed as Acting District Court Judge in the 18th Judicial District and also served as a part-time District Court Magistrate from 1997-2002. As a part-time Judge and Magistrate, Kevin was able to begin his dispute resolution practice while still on the bench.  The dispute resolution practice became Kevin's primary position when he left the state court system in 2007. Kevin also served as the Judge for the Parker Municipal Court from 2000 through 2022.

Kevin has previous experience in private practice as well as the District Attorney's Office in the 18th Judicial District. 

Kevin is a past member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, Past President of the Douglas-Elbert Bar Association and has lectured widely on dispute resolution, family law and ethics topics.​​
